Comic Convention

Peli Con is Pointe Coupee parish's first ever event of its kind. It will be held on April 29th 2023 9AM - 6PM at the William Scott Civic Center in New Roads, LA. The event will be hosted by Cory Daigrepont owner of Marvelous Comic Closet a Batchelor, LA native, Corey Bardsley a Walker, LA native, Clifton Johnston owner of C4 Entertainment a Pineville, LA native and his wife Tracy Johnston owner of The Mad Macaron a native of Innis, LA. The goal is to introduce the con world of entertainment to the New Roads and Louisiana areas, by bringing a community made up of collectors together for one event. Collectors range cards, comic books, manga, video games, anime and more. Comic cons or events similar normally generate a huge crowd of attendees and participants. Comic cons are for everyone and are a family oriented event. New Roads and Pointe Coupee parish never had the opportunity of their own, so let's make history!
