Anime Convention

KPAC was started in 2010 by Joshuah Rutten. When the thought of KPAC Originally came to Joshuah he proposed the idea to a friend of Leona Oberts, the owner of Cornerstone Books and Suplies and the Manga Store, and she was skeptic. After her pondering it for a while she said she would help out with it. At that time KPAC was called The Kenai Peninsula Anime Conference but soon after the original date got scraped the name was changed to Kenai Peninsula Anime Convention. After 3 months of planing and many people helping it was the day of KPAC. September 18, 2010 had come and gone and KPAC was a success (for the most part).
