Science Fiction Convention with Anime, Comics, and Gaming programming
AthCon is a multi-media popular culture convention taking place annually in Athens, Georgia. The event was born from the hard work and dedication of a small group of committed Rose of Athens Theatre board members and staff. While the con focuses on Star Wars, Anime/Manga, Comics, and Gaming, it contains a variety of events, including a gaming room, dealers room, costume contest, panels, workshops, and a formal ball. Each year we strive to bring a memorable, fun convention to our fellow fandoms. AthCon is open to all, from parents bringing their curious kids to the most devoted fans. We invite you all to experience the culture, diversity, and general strangeness that is Athens.
