Why Soda City? Columbia, South Carolina locals have been calling Columbia "Cola" for many years, which allowed an easy transition to the modern nickname "Soda City."
Soda City Comic Con is the brainchild of two friends, Donald B. "Brock" Jr. and Steve C. Powell. Their love and passion for comics and pop culture led them to found Columbia's premiere pop culture event.
