Comic Convention
In partnership with the City of Lockport's Summer Art Series and Amazing Fantasy Books and Comics, the White Oak Library District is pleased to present Comicopolis - its 3rd annual FREE comic convention - on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the White Oak Library District - Lockport Branch. Last year over 30 vendors and exhibitors sold their art, comics, figures, and prints. This year will be bigger and better! We are expanding outside to allow for more exhibitors, food, and fun. Dressing in costume is encouraged! Contest for best dressed in several categories. Photo opportunities, free giveaways, a photo booth, workshops, Podracing, a Jedi Academy, and crafts for kids will round out the day.
