Stephanie Brown
Cosplayer
USA
Biography:
Although Stephanie Brown is Studio Ironcat's new copy editor, she has been a loyal volunteer at the company since 1997. For the past several years, Stephanie has performed many necessary tasks at the office and helped promote Studio Ironcat at many conventions. Adding to her duties with Ironcat, Stephanie also trains and teaches part-time at a Tae Kwon Do school while finishing her final classes at Mary Washington College. This past summer, Stephanie happily tested for her 2nd Degree Black Belt.
When Stephanie was young, she was unknowingly introduced to Japanese animation at the ripe age of seven, with the several Unico movies and Robotech TV Series. It wasn't until 10 years later that she learned these shows came from Japan and ever since, Stephanie has been a loyal anime fan. One way she demonstrates this devotion is through her costumes. By combining her ever-developing sewing skills with an experimental attitude, Stephanie has proven to be an avid costumer and established cosplay veteran. You may have seen her in costumes such as Naga the Serpent, Pokemon's pink Myu, EVA Mass Production Unit 05, or her Ironcat Mascot costume made of purple plastic! Find her at a con, and she'll be happy to chat about costuming and Studio Ironcat. Just look for the perky brunette tagging along after Steve Bennett!
