Biography:
Elisa Hansen hosts "Vampire Reviews" as mistress of the macabre and Elvira-wannabe, the self-titled Maven of the Eventide. The humorous critique series presents a tongue-in-cheek deconstruction of vampire-related media and products in order to lovingly overanalyze their impact on pop culture. One of the original members of Team NChick, you can find her haunting Channel Awesome/That Guy With The Glasses and Chez Apocalypse, where she also assists with and occasionally appears as various neurotic characters for The Nostalgia Chick show.
By day, she lives in New York City where she serves as treasurer on the local MENSA board of directors and works as studio manager for a neon sign manufacturer. Yes, neon + vampires = trouble, but you've gotta admit the irony is at least a little bit amusing.
