Biography:
Lisa Lou Who, winner of SyFy's Cosplay Melee, started out as a seamstress for theatre and dance. Her obsessive love of video games, cartoons, and anime has lead her to winning multiple national awards for cosplay and craftsmanship. Mostly known for her original takes on classic characters, Lisa combines her love of historical costume design with cosplay to create a truly unique art and a way to express her love for each character she recreates. Lisa focuses her social media presence on body positivity, and a celebration of truly being yourself. She has worked professionally with companies such as Aniplex, 2K, Square Enix, Blizzard, the Nerdist, and Sourcefed, to bring characters to life and help create a healthy, positive image to cosplay through marketing and advertising. Lisa's main focus is to create a positive, accepting environment, and to help the community create a place where artistic expression flourishes!
