Biography:
Hugh Newman is a world explorer, megalithomaniac, author of Earth Grids: The Secret Pattern of Gaia's Sacred Sites (2008) and Stone Circles (2017), and co-author of Giants On Record: America's Hidden History, Secrets in the Mounds, and The Smithsonian Files with Jim Vieira (2015). He has contributed to Megalith: Studies in Stone (2018), as well as three Ancient Origins e-books.
He has been a regular guest on The HISTORY Channel's Ancient Aliens and Search for the Lost Giants, and is a video producer who publishes regular films of his worldwide explorations at YouTube.com/MegalithomaniaUK. He's published articles in Atlantis Rising (US), New Dawn (Australia), Nexus (UK/AUS), Mindscape (UK), Heretic (UK), World Explorers Magazine (US), and on websites such as ancient-origins.net and grahamhancock.com.
As well as organizing the annual Megalithomania Conference and the Origins Conference in London with Andrew Collins, he hosts megalithic tours to Peru, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, Britain, Asia, and Europe. He currently lives in Wiltshire, England.
