Biography:
Windrise is a cosplay cover band based in Edmonton, Alberta that specializes in playing the music of Genshin Impact. Each arrangement is written for and by the band while taking into account each instrument and how it contributes to the piece. The band currently consists of woodwinds, brass, and piano.
Windrise was created in April 2022 with the idea of mixing cosplay and chamber music. The ensemble has since grown to the group it is now. Windrise is inspired heavily by the Genshin Symphony concerts.
