Biography:
Born in Tochigi, Japan, Atsushi Abe dreamed of becoming a voice actor from a young age. After graduating university, he spent a year training to become a voice actor and then passed an audition for Ken Production where he is currently affiliated.
Known for his boyish voice, Mr. Abe’s most notable roles include Moritaka Mashiro in BAKUMAN, Toichiro Izumida in Yowamushi Pedal, Touma Kamijo in A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun, Ren Suzugamori in Cardfight!! Vanguard, Takashi Kosuda in B Gata H Kei, Sogo Osaka in IDOLiSH7, and more. His talents were recognized at the 4th Seiyuu Awards in 2010 where he won the Best Rookie Actor award.
