Anime Expo 2009 launches web site

Videos, Contests, Guests and Much More

Anaheim, California (November 28, 2008) — With the huge success of the 2008 convention, Anime Expo® blazes into the future as it launches its most visually stimulating and user-friendly site to date! More information can be found on the website www.anime-expo.org.

The new website includes a video player (currently with video highlights from the 2008 convention and information about Los Angeles), easier navigation as well as the incorporation of the "Twitter" tool for die hard convention attendees that want up-to-date information as soon as it is available. Attendees will be able to obtain accurate information regarding programming, panels, concerts, events and all that has to do with the biggest anime and manga convention in the U.S. Industry and press attendees will be able to access many more features including pre-registration for themselves as well as access to some Industry and Press only events (i.e. SPJA Industry Conference and the official Anime Expo® Guest of Honor Press Junket).

Attendees, Press and Industry Members are also encouraged to view the video coverage site of the 2008 convention at www.AXBackstage.org.
